Dynamo Magician

Dynamo began learning card magic at the age of 10. He quickly developed his skills by watching videos of top performers such as David Stone, who was his mentor and a close friend. Dynamo traveled from Spain to perform for David Stone and saw the success he could obtain with self-belief through performing magic tricks. This is where the drive for killer card manipulation began in him and lead to his success in performing live shows around Europe as well as TV appearances in Germany, Spain, England, Finland, Poland, Russia, and Ukraine.

Dynamo is now regarded a top performer by many professionals across the globe. He has performed and provided magic for private parties for David Beckham, George Clooney, Ewan McGregor, Paris Hilton, Zac Efron, Rihanna and many other celebrities. Closer to home in the UK Dynamo appeared on the BBC's "The One Show", ITV's "This Morning" with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby with a live card trick as well as performing regularly on stage in front of 10s of thousands at events such as the Blackpool Illuminations Switch on Party.

Dynamo first appeared on television in "The Magicians", a documentary for Channel 4 where he performed a card trick to an audience of journalists and magicians which was followed by his first television appearance on "The Paul O'Grady Show" with an impromptu street magic performance to unsuspecting members of the public. He went on to appear in the second series of "The Magicians", this time as a mentor, teaching a young magician all about card tricks. Dynamo's appearances on TV were not limited to just UK appearances, he also featured on Spanish television in "Para Toi" performing many street magic tricks as well as being filmed at David Stone's home high up in the mountains training and performing more advanced card tricks.

In October 2012, Dynamo performed at Roy Castle's Magic Show in the Regents Park Open Air Theatre, London.

On 15 December 2012 Dynamo appeared on the Piers Morgan Good Morning Britain show performing card tricks and magic. He was then invited back to perform on the following Monday. The same year he also appeared on the ITV program "The One Show" with an impromptu street magic act that saw him perform card tricks to unsuspecting members of the public at varying locations across London.

Dynamo has travelled around Europe performing his card trick, street magic and close up magic which has included shows in Spain, Germany and Poland.

On 31 March 2013, Dynamo was invited to the Oxford Union to give a talk on his life and magic career.

In May 2013, Dynamo appeared on the Spanish TV programme "Nadie Sabe Nada" performing a card trick for Spanish celebrities while blindfolded.

In August 2013, Dynamo gave a talk at TEDxGlasgow about overcoming stage fright which he called 'The Secret of Success'. He has also given talks at Newcastle University and Oxford University about his life and journey through magic.

In December 2013, Dynamo gave his first lecture in London at Guy's Hospital in association with Magic Week Conference.

In January 2014, Dynamo was named the world's No 1 street magician by Magic Magazine.

Following in February 2014, he was invited to train the next batch of magicians at auditions for Britain's Got Talent, where his main role was to teach them how to levitate a playing card using magic. It was reported that he had been flown out from Spain especially and had been rehearsing all week with the magicians. In total he taught them how to perform card tricks and other feats of magic for up to eight hours a day.

In May 2014, Dynamo made a guest appearance as himself in Season 2 Episode 2 of TV series "Hustle". He was also invited to teach at a celebrity magic event in Bali and appear on the TV show "The Next Top Magician" which followed 10 lucky candidates as they competed for the chance to be one of the youngest magicians in history.

In August 2014, Dynamo appeared on British TV show "The Jeremy Kyle Show" performing card tricks on an unsuspecting audience member. In October 2015, Dynamo appeared on an episode of The Alex Thomas Show performing magic tricks and discussing his career and why he carries out street magic.

In September 2015, Dynamo performed live at Channel 4's 'Back To The Future' special which saw him demonstrate card feats of magic for Marty McFly and Doc Brown.

In January 2016, Dynamo appeared on the British TV show "This Morning" with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby to perform a series of card tricks. In March 2016, Dynamo appeared in an episode of "Ghosthunters: Paranormal Files". In April 2016, Dynamo was invited by College Humor for an in-depth interview discussing his life and career.

In January 2017, Dynamo appeared on the main stage at 'The Secret' and 'Creative Summit'. He also appeared on "Chronicle Live" as well as giving a talk to 400 students in Oxfordshire about his life and career.

Recently he has performed at Banff World Media Festival with Blue Peter Magazine starring Colin Bell.

Dynamo was a member of the Magic Circle in 2004, and is an examiner for Practical Stage Fright avoidance.

Dynamo's book "How to be a Professional Magicians' Assistant" was published by Hay House in the UK and North America in January 2010. The book focuses on his personal experiences from being an assistant performer as well as the text explaining how to be a professional performer. It features many card tricks along with street magic and close up magic that have been performed across the globe.

Dynamo entered his first performance contest when he was 17 years old where he competed for over two hours with a number of judges including world famous magician Steve Cox. Despite competing against other magicians, Dynamo came second to a magician from Russia who he had met just a week before the competition.

A documentary series about Danny Davis called "The Magicians" was broadcast on Channel 4 in 2004. The first of three series followed Danny Davis performing various card tricks around London. In the second series, Davis was mentored by Dynamo who taught him a number of advanced magic tricks that allowed him to win the competition. The third series also saw Davis win the national final and gain his place to be one of the youngest magicians ever to perform for the Royal Family.

On 1 May 2011, Dynamo appeared on an episode of "Celebrity Mastermind" answering questions on the topic of Big Brother. He revealed that he was a friend of Jade Goody and had met her just a few months before her death from cervical cancer in 2009. He had also been offered the chance to appear on Big Brother in 2007 but turned it down as he wanted to concentrate on his magic career.

In 2013, Dynamo appeared in the music video for "Fire" by Will I Am. He also performed a magic trick which saw him mix up the order of the multicoloured balls by flicking his right index finger on to them and then rearranging them into their original order. The video can be viewed on YouTube.

In 2015, Dynamo appeared in a commercial for Zara clothing and a video for the Major Lazer song "Lean On" alongside Rihanna. The video saw Dynamo being educated on how to move the light up Rihanna so that she could lean or be pushed around by a male backup dancer backstage at Zara's Madrid department store.

In 2016, Dynamo appeared in a viral video for Nintendo Switch via GameStop where he showed us how to play and use the Switch as if it were part of your body. It was later made into an advert for Nintendo UK which is available on YouTube.

Dynamo has been very active since retirement.
